That is a lovely statement by Nelson. Must be the first time that this fact is brought up in this court.
This why i believe that the FDIC is first in line to pay up. They messed up big time selling those assets for 1.88B, let alone seizing WaMu in the first place.

Justin gave them a nice number, however it does not prove anything. JPM just needs to show/disply they had the proper business model where wamu did not. It needs to have more backbone, but I get the point.
Now that 30 billion dollar figure has been thrown out....can anyone comment on the estimated breakout for settlement for cost of fees/debt etc and most impr payment to preferred stocks and commons?
