agree AND also think that when settlement occurs, it has to look
FORCED. so that JPM is not liable to their own stockholders
if the pps of JPM stock goes down because of the court case.
Remember when JPM funded their liability account (what is it called?) for if/when they lose any of the cases that are pending. He is CYA to the max. He did not get to where he is by playing nice or by playing by the rules. He makes the rules and he brakes the rules. Kinda fun if you are him. Kinda bad if you are raising a family like he is and what will be his legacy? Has he hit that time of life where you want to leave the planet better
than you found it?

It is late, we had a fantastic day, and remember, the truth will be found out. we will prevail. Too many things are lining up
since the beginning of this journey.

JPM/FDIC are like frogs in a pot of cold water and the heat has been turned on under them. they are not noticing that it is hot YET. (from How To Boil A Frog)

Blessings!!!

DPincus:
How true you portrait this "uncanny" scenario.
However IMO I suspect that SB/FDIC has some documents to place either to the court/examiner where JPM will be on hook, as to the selling off of "estate property" unauthorized I might add, before she'll go down.

DPincus

In general your comments depict a way of life for various individuals throughout history. It remains to be seen if JD can escape the possible forthcoming litigation by our pitbull and the UST unscathed. It will be exciting and interesting to see how this unfolds in the upcoming months. No telling what an examiner might unearth that could take JD down. I doubt that he envisioned the possible presence of as examiner down the road when he perpetrated this whole fiasco a few years ago when he came on board at JPMC from Bank One in Cleveland.

Dion... interesting how the entire JPM group of attorneys sitting behind me did not utter a single word the whole time in court. I even attempted to catch any of their comments during the break... they were quiet as a church mouse!

The FDIC is in this past their eyeballs... their pathetic speech in court proved the point that they are grasping big time now. Only a matter of time before the Examiner goes for the clean version of the binders that Nelson held up two hearings ago.

GO EXAMINER, GO NELSON, GO MCMAHON AND CONTINUE JUDGING ACCORDINGLY THJMW

Great post and very eloquent articulation of your thoughts therein.

The only point I'd like to raise is that a direct connection was already discovered in an email linking Dimon to Botin of Banco Santander. The media spun the email, of course, but the connection was nevertheless made.

If other direct connections exist between Dimon and other players or even his own cronies, they will serve as the basis for investigation by the examiner. Dimon is brilliant but his hubris may very well be the cause of his undoing. I don't believe Kenneth Lay, Jeffrey Skilling or any of the other players behind the Enron scandal, or even Dennis Kozlowski of Tyco fame, ever expected to be caught - but they were. That's just something to keep in mind.
