Bingo, it is all about the contract(s). Perhaps a Nevada or maybe nationwide new Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan: Gov't Contract and/or multiple private carrier insurance group plan contract(s) to store for the new 'medical necessity' coverages! http://www.pcip.gov/StatePlans.html
Bio insurance plan coverages and Medical necessity plan coverages will propel CBAI into a whole new revenue bracket. Our revenue base is broad with domestic and international hubs so that revenue picture when fully developed looks very promising indeed!
Dew, Nevada and the countries need for the Pre-Existing Insurance coverage could be a huge Cord Blood America contract; maybe the new 'medical insurance' policy the CEO eluded to in his PR. Other carriers need to store for the same reason and he already has partnerships with independents mostly for bio insurance coverage. They too will need to store for a 'medical necessity' going forward; more revenue for our commercial storage business. Contracts, contracts and more contracts are hopefully coming our way soon.
We have ASHI (Transplant), AABB, CLIA/CMS (Medicare) accreditations, a Medical Director (Dr. Ahmad) First BMT Expert in Nevada, NCI Investigator who also helped reorganize the State of Nevada's CMS medicare system, Dr. O'Neill an immunologist Expert (all UCB treatments are immune defective based)and a shiny new lab that can store 250k samples of UCBs.
Add in the Afford-A-Cord and the nationwide training module pilot vs Kurtzberg's fiscally mismanaged public-private Related storage model and I agree CBAI seems to be poised to Steal The Show.
Maybe I am too optimistic; Not! The current pps doesn't reflect these underlying changes. When the two do meet on common ground some investors will be amazed just how undervalued CBAI stock WAS.
