why would updating pinks bring in more money.
Gee, I dunno.
Why does the Bank of America or EXXON bother to report their earnings?
(besides being legally required to, of course)
Could it be because they wouldn't have any sort of credibility with potential investors if they didn't?
Could it be because your average investor isn't willing to gamble their hard earned money on a company that they know absolutely nothing about, and may or may not be in business next year? Or next week?
I know why I bought stock in this company. I bought it because I thought they MIGHT, repeat MIGHT, make a nice profit off cleaning up this mess. I also knew that I knew almost NOTHING about this company or it's finances before I bought the stock. I knew I was GAMBLING my money on a company that almost no one had ever even heard of before two months ago. I made my decision as a SPECULATOR, not an investor.
And so far, I'm pretty well pleased with my decision.
But your average small investor isn't going to do that. Especially after what's happened in the last two years. Your average big money institutional investor isn't going to do that either. (They can't, really. They're not even allowed to) They want to see some sort of reassurances that this is a real company, with real prospects, with a real management team, and with a real chance that their investment isn't going to just go "poof".
And when MOPN puts out their financial information out there for all the world to see, and scrutinize, they'll be making a great leap forward in that regard. And most potential investors aren't going to jump in until that happens.
And that is why the MOPN folks should update their pink sheet info as soon as possible.
