spokeshave, it should be apparent by AMD's vapor launches that they are having yield and/or binsplit problems. It's likely that the engineers were given a target they cannot realistically meet (because targets are more market-driven, not engineer-driven). So instead, AMD "launches" with availability sometime between tomorrow and next quarter.
