got no problem with it as long that its not the usual spy-camera/casino adds.

I'd actually started putting X10 in my home and was planning to spend quite a lot of money building it out to include surveillance of the whole perimeter of the house and the garages but stopped when I started seeing those annoying X10 ads.

I don't see them anymore. I just added x10.com to my hosts file and pointed it to 10.0.0.1, so the ad code would try to pull the ad from my local hard drive and not find it. Works like a charm. Was Meatloaf's idea.
