I know thats what it said but that isnt realistic. The engineer gave them a theoretic recoverable reserve figure and Smith jumped to the conclusion that it is economical to recover every drop that is recoverable. The wells will have a production decline curve like any other well and have an economic limit like any other well. Don't forget the humble wells are already in a depleted field.
