Personally, I'm glad that Kevin reposted it. Often rereading articles and some posters contributions helps to drive home the thoughts, facts and information that is being relayed. After I reread this particular post, I had evidently glanced over some pretty important facts. Such as:

“We are planning and developing standards in several other areas that will be released to the market when completed. These include specifications for trusted computing implementation in servers, peripherals, storage, and mobile devices. We also are working to ensure endpoint integrity that utilized the security of trusted computing platforms and to ensure that all these systems will be interoperable.”

Unfortunately I'm not able to comprehend and remember every post that is displayed here about Wave on I-Hub. Some of us do read other boards, magazines, books ect., and don't spend all day watching the Wave board on I-Hub!! The article Kevin reposted gives great insight into Brian Bergers', (WAVES") apparent frustration with the slow pace of adoption and the TCG movement. But after all, it is moving forward, perhaps not in my lifetime! :

Although trusted computing is now a reality on millions of systems, Berger remains frustrated by limited utilization of the technology, an issue that the TCG is actively addressing. “Awareness and understanding of the value delivered by these specifications and implementations is a challenge. As we continue forward with our marketing activities to educate the market on the value of TCG solutions, this impediment will diminish.”

After 5 years I'm a little frustrated also, so I can understand Waves'. With all the meaningless garbage posted here, I'm sure you could find other reposts more suitable for a reply!! LOL If Waves' shareprice was up 10 cents would you of had the same inclination to respond to Kevins' reposted article? I doubt it!

PS Guvna, Thanks for the kind thoughts concerning my nephew, Tony. He was transferred to Boston for rehabilitation today. Apparently the doctors expect about 2-3 months there before he'll return home. I'm planning on going to Boston in February and explain to him the fine art of tree avoidance when snow skiing on icy trails!! Thanks again

Hey guv,

Archives? Are you kidding me? This article is five days old. So recent, in fact, that the folks at TCG hadn't seen it until I sent it to them (twice!).

I reposted it because there wasn't any comment. I just wanted folks not to miss in the evening what I posted this morning. See, unlike yours, not everyone reads my posts. Maybe I should double your membermarks!! LOL
