Hi all,,,,,excel, it has always amazed me the higher price for a log home compared to the same size stick built, The stick built they have to cut the tree, make the lumber, dry the lumber ,surface the lumber , stack it, and get it to the store, Log homes they cut a tree and dry it, Thats it , besides for doing the notching,,,,,,Why is it, the log homes cost more??
