We got screwed by the Seattle judge's delay. With two hearing on the same day, both could yield good results. But, Seattle could dramatically change this case, making Delaware hearing on examiner less important.

This does sux,

Wow! Lots of posts today. Apologies if this has already been proposed, but does anyone know the feasibility/costs involved in submitting a FOIA request for the "vast database consisting of over 1 million documents in word-searchable format" produced to the Senate and to the DOJ in their investigations related to WAMU? I think, collectively, if this were possible, the members of this board could eat through those documents in less than a week. Looking quickly at a few primers on the web (caveat emptor), it appears that bloggers (i.e., a representative of the news media) are entitled not to be charged fees for the govt’s search/review of records and may also qualify to have its request processed faster than it otherwise would be if you can show that there’s an “urgency to inform the public” about the information requested. Just a thought.
