My cable provider doesn't carry this one. I originally thought FamilyNet was the same as Family Channel.

So the CEO of WNBD does his research on an investment board? Now that's not only pathetic it's scary. This may explain why operating cost is running 3 times sales or why advertising cost are over 65% of total sales. We just had an announcement of an addition 73 stores but based on current sales per store we would need another 8,800 stores just for sales per quarter to equal operating cost of $423,000 per quarter. With 5000 stores and total sales of $159,000 that means the average store is only selling about $31 worth of WNBD products in the entire quarter or a whopping $10 a month. How long will a store carry a product when it's taking up shelf space for $10 worth of sales a month? And no, I don't subscribe to Family net nor do I watch the stations they are running the DRTV ads on. This post is NOT spam and it's NOT off topic. It's about WNBD, sales earnings and the question asked by the WNBD CEO.

It is available through comcast here in ATL.

I do not have the channel in my package though. Basic +HBO.....

My parents do have it in Chattanooga TN. Never watched it before, but its not targeted towards me.

Sounds to me that it is our bread and butter consumers though.

I now see why this channel is showing promise...As some know, FamilyNet airs a lot of WC commercials when the "Wretched" show is playing. I checked their website to do some research on the popularity of the show. It is actually pretty darn popular, (considering the topic/type of the show) and I think I just figured out why we are selling so well here. 1. I clicked the Facebook link on their site and I see they have 8000+ personnal that "like" it. 2. Kirk Cameron use to be the kid star from "Growing Pains"...He is now very religious and he is actually making frequent guest appearances on this show "Wretched"...Believe it or not, but the guy still has a following...over 65,000+ people "like" him on Facebook...I think Hawthorne and Winning Brands know this...which is why they consistently play the commercials at that time slot. If we are selling on a channel like this...riding on the coattails of someone so "yesterday"...I wonder how'd we do on a channel that is more "in"...Soon we'll find out...2 week test is over very soon...Let's hope we get a PR saying they are willing to expand on the air times/channels.... :-)
