I think it has no bearing. One perspective could be that things are anticipated to go poorly, so they are using 3G to balance that. Another perspective is that things are going very well, and they now realize that maybe they can get out of owing IDCC money for anything (or at least significantly minimize it). The bottom line - it has no relevance. What it does mean is that we now have to engage in the same battle over 3G that we did over 2G...leading to, in my opinion, delays in signing more 3G contracts.

mschere...I like the optimism but do we know FOR SURE that the 3 arbitration panelists are underway? Its easy to take that for granted....I assume they are and that is why NOK fired this shot but we REALLY don't know that for certain, do we?
