Thats the problem the stock faces.
I personally would think that this kind of news would have been better if it was released right before market open or during trading hours. Why?
Because at that point - investors would flock into the stock to buy shares and BIG investment groups, promo's, etc.. wouldn't have time to coordinate their buys ahead of time.
The news release on Friday after close gives these large investment groups, the MM's and others to coordinate their trades, buys, sells, etc..
This alone will cause increased volatility and something that shorters can use to their advantage IMO.
Trust me, I have seen stocks release bigger news than MOPN - and those stocks didn't perform nearly as expected. When interest is high - MM's, shorters, and day traders will control the price action.
When interest is low and a stock releases big news - then you have a huge run. That is how I've seen it play out numerous times.
