When you look back at the history of Sierra Leone the diamond war and companies just taking there natural resources and giving back nothing. It would seem to me the Paramount Chiefs would go easy on Doug considering the years he has been there an what he has done for the people. Doug must have a very good reputation to get so many leases form the PCs. Maybe the PCs communicate with each other and all have high regards for Doug.

I believe part of the problem is that the Paramount Chiefs give concessions to mine certain parts of the Rivers, then they demand we pick up and move our operations from where we are located to where "they" will receive the most royalties and forget the other Chief's where we were mining before. We are offered another prime mining spot but have to leave the other before we know if it is a good one or not. This causes us to loose valuable mining time and spend more on building access roads to the new locations to begin moving the dredges. imo
