beamer: If everyone adopts the wait till it starts up approach who will be the first to start it up. This mantra which is common among the pundits has been a big contributor to the continued downturn of the market. I guess only an enormous earnings turn around is going to fix this thing. Gradualism is not the word of today's investor- everything is hyper. JFD
