H0db, one of two things would have to happen before I will consider AMD.

1) The bulls come back.

2) Some very good news comes out about PC market demand.

As for the stock price, that shouldn't be a consideration. God only knows how far the bears want to take the Nasdaq. If Intel can hit single digits, surely AMD can go below $4. Or $3. It all depends on how far investors are willing to go. My advice would be to wait for some upward movement. Hey, you may miss the bottom, but coming in slightly above it is better than buying now, and watching as investors cut the price in half - again.
