ReelTime to Deliver Digital Media to Schools in Washington State

SEATTLE, Jan 12, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ReelTime Rentals, Inc., (OTCPK: RLTR)
has received a signed Letter of Intent from the Educational Service District 113
(ESD 113) to deliver media content to approximately 66,000 students across
schools throughout Washington State. The agreement outlines an initial
implementation to deliver media from the ESD 113 Media Center to classrooms
within ESD 113 jurisdiction by utilizing its Intelligent Rapid Delivery System
(IRDS). The jurisdiction includes approximately 2600 classrooms spanning 45
school districts in five counties within Washington State.

Currently, school staff can "check out" the videos for a two-week period to use
with their students. The Media Center then distributes the media by delivery van
or, in some instances, sends it by mail. The video may be in use for a couple of
hours at most and then unavailable to other teachers for the remainder of the
two-week period. This delivery method is and has been standard across the
nation.

"We have struggled to shift our model for delivering video for two years, but
have found the technology has not been ready or was cumbersome for the end user.
Every model for content delivery we have explored required cost prohibitive
initial and ongoing investment in infrastructure/hardware," said Dana Anderson,
Assistant Superintendent, ESD 113 Data, Technology and Communications. "The
possibilities of the ReelTime technology are very exciting to us. Many of the
barriers we have felt over the past two years simply don't exist in this
solution. The possibility of teachers being able to simply check out and display
media content in real time will make a significant difference in the experience
of students within our region. We look forward to realizing the benefits of a
full-scale deployment of this technology with ReelTime after the successful
completion of this evaluation."

The system ReelTime is designing for ESD 113 will be technologically capable of
delivering media to any classroom or student with a broadband connection
anywhere in the nation.

"While delivery of DVD quality media to the home for entertainment purposes
remains our primary revenue model, this agreement demonstrates our ability to
leverage our existing technology to penetrate additional vertical markets such
as education, military, government and private corporate use," said Alex
Stanczyk, CEO ReelTime Rentals. "The potential for ReelTime to generate revenue
in these markets is substantial. Following completion of this evaluation there
will be no technical reason we would not be able to duplicate this for every
school district across the nation."

About ESD 113

One of ESD 113's primary purposes is to provide for equitable opportunities for
students and staff regardless of where they reside or the resources available
within their communities. One challenge rural schools face is providing current
and relevant learning resources in a cost-effective manner. The Media Center
delivers media and learning resources to schools every week that would be cost
prohibitive for them to maintain on their own. The ESD 113 media collection
contains over 12,000 educational video titles. ESD 113, located in Southwest
Washington State, is one of 9 regional educational support centers providing a
wide variety of support services to 45 school districts in 5 counties serving a
total of 66,000 students.
