Actually, he'll probably be remembered more now than had he gotten the perfect game. Sure, he missed his shot at Cooperstown, but how many of the perfect games pitchers can you name off the top of your head. Galarraga will be remembered, and with his class act response, umpires will remember it as well.
Not to mention his appearances on all the late night shows now.
