Someone had asked him what it's like to catch veteran pitchers like Sabatthia and Burnett....especially when they aren't pitching well and he has to go out to the mound to talk to them.
He told a story about a game last year that Burnett was pitching and I think the bases were loaded with no outs.
He went out to the mound and started to ask Burnett about the new car he bought. He then told Burnett if he got out of the inning with no runs scored he (Cervelli) would wash the new car!
I think Burnett got out of the inning.......not sure if Cervelli washed his car or not!
