7. REPURCHASE OF COMMON STOCK:
In March 2009, our Board of Directors authorized a $100.0 million share repurchase program (the “2009 Repurchase Program”). The Company can repurchase shares under the program through open market purchases, pre-arranged trading plans, or privately negotiated purchases. During 2009, we repurchased approximately 1.0 million shares for $25.0 million under the 2009 Repurchase Program, of which no shares were repurchased during first quarter 2009. We did not make any share repurchases during first quarter 2010.
