RS retiring may be a good thing for IDCC.

Wasn't he the one who made the comments (after the 8K regarding progress) about the stock price being more optimistic?

I previously stated that pNokio was going to reorganize Rick Simonson out of the company. He was a high riding yank that they no longer need. First they took his CFO position and tossed him in the handset side of the business and now they say he is going to retire as a result of this new organization. It could not happen to a better guy.

Hey Rick do you want to have substantial negotiations with IDCC now. How about delivering a smoking gun.

Nokia revamps structure, appoints new execs
LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Nokia Corp. (NYSE:NPK) (HELSINKI:FI:NOK1V) , the world's largest mobile operator, on Tuesday announced its second management reorganization in less than a year. The Finnish company said Rick Simonson, the head of its key mobile phones unit, would retire. The company will reorganize its structure in three units: mobile solutions, to be headed by Anssi Vanjoki, mobile phones, to be run by Mary McDowell, and markets, headed by Niklas Savander.

This is GREAT news becase Simonson has been the more vocal of the Nokia opposition and IMO has been behind the Nokia strategy in suppressing IDCC.
