I gave you my answer, or so I thought?. It wouldn't matter if it were Gaza or the west bank or Jerusalem, the Palestinians would like it all. What Obama wants from Netanyahu are the kind of concessions he isn't willing to give.

I'll tell you of some land Israel has "conceded" In 1979 Israel pulled out of the Sinai Peninsula, which they had taken from Egypt in 1973. Actually Carter sort of bought it from Israel and gave it to Egypt.

In 2005 Israel left the part of Gaza they had occupied since 1967. Palestinians almost immediately started firing rockets into Israel from their newly acquired land. If the Arabs had had the common sense to just move in and start re building, there might be more support among Israelis for turning more land over for Palestinian governance.

my exchanges with you has put me in the position of speaking on behalf of Israel. A country I have real problems with. But your positions seem so emotion driven and one sided that I've decided to try for some balance.
