hard to argue with any of that dbernet. yes block 1 looks to be commercial but i'm no longer so sure total is coming into the other jdz blocks. i think it was strass that said 'the math works out well' if total does come into blocks 2,3,4 but does the math still work ok for total if they just stay in block 1? would linking akpo over to just block 1 be worth it for total?

Good post dbernet. It explores the opposite direction...I was thinking ERHC's actions were intentional...you're saying "give them the benefit of the doubt, people are human, they have mispoken or made mistakes."

I think you're point of view is definitely worth considering.

Of course, for someone who is so high and mighty about fibs, you seem to be doing so when you say you won't sell...weren't you shrewd enough to sell a bunch of shares before the AGM for Chinese Growth Stocks, and then now are in a position to buy back or have already?

Great post with some clear thinking. Don't agree with all your conclusions but I'm sure you don't expect 100% agreement from most of us.

Especially appreciate how you emphasize Total's interest in Block one is good for them and not necessarily as much for others.
