As I listened to her (and the day before I happen to hear Nouriel), I wondered to what extent they pushed their thoughts of a collapse before it happened. Its not as difficult to mention it once by chance then turn around later and said you predicted it then to actually commit to the idea and not waver against industry disagreement.
For example, I happen to see several older videos of Peter Schiff saying that the housing market will bring down the economy. Not only were some people disagreeing and dismissive, some were to the point of mocking him. But he stood firm on his idea. So it seemed to me. I'm no scholar on the subject so there may be more to all of this.
