Hawk In theory duringa buyback there is nill net fundamental change - Its a gimmick for pinkies. Some rationalize that there is a smaller O/S thus more value but in theory the buyback takes cash from teh treasury so net effect is ZERO. Blue chips do it wwhen they feel stock is undervalued. Anyway Pinkies never really do it - They announce they are but they do not often carry through. Thats it for me I had to go get some lobsters so I missed close and I see I shooda listend to my guit feel on BPUR but then again my HOFF overnight bag hold paid for these lobsters 40 times over.
