What prompts me to say it is logical thinking. If they already have a "relationship" with L3 to put electronics in the segmented airship, why not give them this job? Doesn't make sense to go to a smaller, less known company.
Why do it? For possibly these reasons:
1. The relationship with L3 isn't in place anymore (if it ever was in place).
2. It is more advantageous to develop a "relationship" with a private company that no one can find out much about....and who doesn't have to share information about anything it does with the general public. Yet another relationship with a company that no one can find out much about. THAT doesn't surprise me in least. S.O.P. for SNSR.
3. I also suppose it's possible that since GTC is buying the product (supposedly), they would get to pick who works on it. I freely admit that MIGHT be the reason.
