The FDIC may be trying to cover what it did to wamu with jpm by throwing Goldman Sachs under the bus. But the truth is, this proves Killinger was not just whining about not being on the do not short list. WAMU was exposed to an unfair risk that other companies "in the club" were protected against. The hands in the game are trying to wipe themselves clean. I think a settlement is close, so this can all be forgotten!
