Curious62..Thanks for the input. With your oil background and history of working with the Chinese, what do you feel is the next step in evaluating the JDZ drilling and seismics? If the findings suggest a commercial oil field how do you expect Sinopec to proceed in developing a partnership, engineering the field and securing financing. Good luck, Farrell

I think I answered your question in a post following the one I am now answering. I may not have and do not want you to think I am ignoring or slighting you with no direct reply.

In a nutshell, I do not trust the Communist Chinese and can not imagine a situation of owning a CC corporation's stock and being able to sleep at night. It is a personal thing. I would have never bought ERHE had I known that SNP would end up being the Operator of the first three blocks to be drilled. As I said previously, it is not something I will whine about in as much as I too can sell and walk.

Thank you for explaining the data reprocessing. It was very helpful to now understand that even with the same data, the model assumptions give different results. I am sure the CC geophysical companies are very capable just as are numerous other CC companies.

Please suffice it to say that my experience with government IT Security issues far too frequently involved the very capable CC. Now talk about a scary world; I will not even go there.

You make it sound oh so complicated when in fact they probably have a very good idea what is there for strata,,sand,hydrocarbons etc. by the time the drill bit stops turning in each well !! So please lets skip all the rationalizations for their not reporting !

Curious, from most reports and rumors, mainly gas in Block 1, oil, condensate in blocks 2,3,4, course, that means some gas in 2,3,4, but now the gas will get monitized if they can tie it together and score commercial. What's not to like ??

As you know SEO is one of the three Nigerian Gas Czars, the otherd being S. Korea and Addax/now SNP.

Gas is good and the price isrising.
