Yeah weird connections, I've listened to the interview and if I was a manager, I would never say something like 'we have connections' it's absolutely unprofessional, we can have business partners or customers, but connection are nothing until some business is going to be done. And news releases are beeing little bit exaggerated. I've survived and spam fraud on stock CNDD, which rose from 3 per share to 9 per share, it should be 38 per share in 2005 according to the pumper newsletter. Now it is beeing traded for 0.20 :)
