The issue of Trusted Computing across different platforms is one of interoperability and, hence, one of reaching the most customers...

In the long run only systems leveraging an open programmable platform will remain in the market place. So, Motorola's Mobile Extreme Convergence (MXC) architecture may just be kind of a mirror image of ARM's "TrustZone" security extension architecture...

Much less details are known about Motorola's MXC architecture but there is, in my opinion, no doubt that Motorola's system will interface to an interoperable Trust Network...

If it doesn't...well, then TI and STMicro and all the other mobile system (chip) builders will walk away with the cake...and Apple will concede its market they have so nicely been building...
