Show me some credible sources that TIA is only moving toward full body scanners. Show me they are completely giving up on shoe scanners in the 1-4 year future. Don't just tell me because I won't believe some guy on a forum. I see the logic that full body scanners "should" include the lower legs and feet, but I'm not positive on how precise they are. I would feel more comfortable knowing that they did a second check with a shoe scanner. If were going to have the highest security at our airports, shouldn't we have both?

Is the TSA looking at shoe scanning technology or not? I've read several articles to suggest that they are. Do you disagree and if so why?
