so to buy up the float is not a change of ownership, ie owning the shares?

"ownership" change - which is defined as any shareholder owning > 5% shares and increases his position by 50%.


I can't believe it would be so easy for co's in the black to buy shareholdings in loss co's to lessen their tax committments. think of all the pk's available now that can bring hundreds of millions of nols.

going back to my post, that's why I agreed with you that the Trust Preferred Sec's would be an easier target.
