Dr R -- The more I read these types of articles the more I am unfortunately forced to believe that justice be damned -- JPM and most likely Barclays will walk off scot-free and we will be screwed. Definitely hope I am wrong, but either way, I don't have a very good feeling about the future of this country.
The important part about the Barclay deal for WAMUQ is not so much that the deal will be unwound, but that the BK court is willing to consider the act. If the sentiment of BK court (nationwide) is changing, it will add to the impetus of the movement on several fronts (Congress and other courts) to unwind what happened in 2008 and call to task the real culprits in the meltdown.
