Hmm... When I start a backup using Casper's trial version it says:

"Casper will copy Data (D:) to the drive. Any existing data on the destination drive will be lost."

So while Casper may not need any more space than what it is transferring that doesn't help if everything else on the drive is wiped out.

Please let me know if I'm misunderstanding something.
