Yikes: as a non-medical professional, but always trying to be in the loop on popular "gist" of medical "news", your article on cancer growth shocks the heck out of me, as I just sensed that all the crude inflections regarding cancer cell growth rates were known 20 years ago.

Odd that you mentioned Sloan Kettering breast center, I remember visiting relatives there (1987) when it was just a cozy intimate single floor
operation and the patient there to this day may have not needed all the radiation and surgery (removal of nodes as well) as current jury is still out on the disposition of some small cancer tumors (according to all the accumulated second and third handed "gist" I scanned).
