IF Longs acted in Unison as well as shorts/MMs do...well...

Say, each long investor put in a GTC limit Buy for as many shares as they are Comfortable with towards accumulation...at an arbitrary price...say $27.26 for instance...do you believe 50,000+ shares sitting there would afford some serious Support...??!
