Seems like there have been some glitches that where interrupting bandwidth the last few days. I don't know if they are resolved yet. I'm running Windows 7 and FF 3.6 and ABP and have not experienced any problems. I have never messed with the blocked sites in Firefox so I'm not familiar with what you're trying to do.
