i might have to agree with you on this one Miss M. I read over their website and everything that's been in the PR's, is part of what UMC does. The only place i found a reference to Convectair is on the main Home page at the bottom.
The PR also stated this Distributor is part of the Rural Electric Cooperatives and this is from their site:
"Today UMC is the exclusive distributor of Freedom Brand Water Heaters as well as other high quality, dependable products specifically for Rural Electric Cooperatives."
We'll see, but i think you might be right.
