Channel 490 is Espn A according to Zaptoit.com

491 is an unassigned channel...back in the day I could tell you exactly what was showing through some equipment I had...unfortunetly I do not have a DTV dish anymore, but the 101 Sat is one of their main sats, the 101 refers to where on the horizon it is.

I transponder is kind of like a channel, buried within each set of bandwidth, usually in the Ghz range, there are subsets which are transponders. It just means they are broadcasting something new on Transponder 18 and 13.

Alot of times this could be specialty content. Ford, and other major companies will buy sat time on DTV for nationwide conferences, some of the big mortgage and investing companies do this, but usually they are in the high 500's above the porn channels. You'd never know they were there as a customer....but there are ways :)

Now DTV did just add an Italian Channel but thats not on that sat as far as I know.
