One of the things I look at after a merger or asset purchase is what percentage did the shell holders get.
Before BioHarp As of 9/22/09: 256,737,031
After BioHarp and fund raising 986,490,863
New shares issued approx. 730 million
Shareholders ended up with over 25% of total shares O/S
256m/986m
This was a fair split for shareholders, I have no problem with this side of the BioHarp transaction.
I see some deals where shareholders end up with maybe 4% of new company.....75/25 split like they did here was a good split compared to other merger/asset purchase deals I've seen imho.
