Once there is a settlement there is no more trading. Your shares will be gone and in return you should have a pile of cash reflected somewhere in your brokerage account.
I would believe a halt will occur. All of the WaMu classes will be halted and there will be a cash payout. I am just not sure if the other classes will take a hair cut.
Now, one thing that I am pondering is IF WaMu is somehow getting back into business somehow. If there is no halt by Monday - then I will have to look into that idea a little more.
