Fundamentally, I would argue that there is a HUGE difference in that I wasn't using your money to build my business. I used my reputation and network to build my business.
I wasn't' accountable to shareholders.
He has MUCH more money to start his business with than I ever dreamed of at that when I was getting rolling.

It doesn't take 9 months to get rolling in the Entertainment business. It certainly doesn't take 9 months to plan and execute on concert promotion.
This isn't a regional business by the way. Oddly enough, I was involved with a concert at Parkview a couple weeks prior to the Good Charlotte abort.
