They don't need a week to settle the $4 billion in deposits. That's silly. The judge was ready to rule today.

The Media don't get it.
WMI does not need to negotiate the $4B issue with anybody.
For them to get their deposit back only takes a nod to THJMW to go ahead and issue the ruling.
The one week delay is to finish the GLOBAL SETTLEMENT. (IMO)
Why do you think no other items on the agenda for today got covered today?
