I dont think they deliberately set out to be scammers because I think they took the time to develop a marketable product and produced it. I suspect inappropriate experience with marketing and good product rollout, as well as the age old problem of EGO, doomed the effort. Regardless, the result can then be the same end game for investors as if it was a scam from the begining.

Hey, maybe they really do have new cans and deals in the works to do it right next time. But even doing it right does not guarantee success, it just improves the chances a little.
