xpoint Shock & Awe!

HAPR/2 is TPM centric with Intel TXT thrown in for good measure.
I think there is a pretty good chance that Wave is in there in some
capacity. And, if so, then it is Shock & Awe.

x-point - HAP involvement

Below is correspondence I have had with Wave on the event. HAP is a TCG based technology and we may see some support from Wave on this front in coming months.

===============================================

===================================================

I am a small investor in your company ( w/ ~ xxx k shares ) and have been a shareholder for around ten years, and I am writing you today in reference to the High Assurance Platform Conference and Exposition that you are scheduled to participate in on March 16-18.

HAP has been in development for a number of years and appears to be in a new phase in both DOD deployment and now, as indicated in the Conference notes, on the commercial front. I would appreciate if you could speak some on how Wave’s technologies support this platform and give any insight you may be able to into the opportunities Wave may have in this space.

Also, I would appreciate if you could comment on the HAP Partner Program, specifically is Wave a potential member.

Sincerely,

xxxx,

HAP is the governments implementation of Trusted execution leveraging the Trusted Computing base that is driven by TCG and a number of industry partners.

The opportunity is to commercialize this work so that we can provide very secure computing for many applications and services. It is too early to speculate on the scale of the market opportunity today but in my opinion every user could benefit from HAP. An example would be isolation of all home banking in one environment from all other applications.

Wave is playing an important role as a key TCG member and as a commercial software distributor and we will begin to show more details in the coming months.

This is really the evolution of client hardware security from TPM and SED to trusted execution and in many cases is delivering on the promise of palladium from 2003 without the dependency and or domination of Microsoft but a better multivendor approach.
