The majority out there don't know who the heck Interdigital is. The people who do know are the ones that are either paying licensees or have been notified that they need to be a paying licensee.
Why would journalists on CNBC know who or what Interdigital is? If IDCC had a magic cure all for the bandwidth problem, everyone would be beating down their door. This should tell you something imo.
