Customer satisfaction with banking institutions remained unchanged in 4Q09 but was quite turbulent for individual banks, according to the American Consumer Satisfaction Index. Scores for small banks and credit unions topped the industry, as usual, but some large banks, such as JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and Bank of America (BAC), plummeted. Scores for health insurance firms improved more than any other industry.
