ospreyeye, thank for all the great info. I've been investing for a long time so I'm familiar with most of that stuff, but the part about getting to know the routine of the MM's is what I'm trying to learn. I have to learn charts and, like you said, go back in a stock and see what the MM's did in the past. I imagine there is a certain 'routine' in all this. That's what I need to learn -- the routine. Every so often I'll come across someone who seems to know almost exactly what's going to happen with a stock. I know it's a combination of being really good with charts and knowing how MM's operate on a particular stock. I'm sure they also went back and took a look at how the MM's operated on the stock.
