No, but I did find it, dis-assembled it again because it still felt like a short to me. The male adapter inside the laptap has a very fine crack in it, the reason I did not find it the first time was they placed a small square piece of transparent film over it.
My question is did they put the film over it to keep it from cracking or did they place it to hide the crack. I was considering maybe heat was compounding my problem. The laptop is running great in its current state, (about eight parts).
Trying to decide how I can fix it without a new board.
Have just about decided on hogs rings, depending on where you are you may have no idea what that is. LOL
Thanks for your suggestion, computer has a battery optimizer program to discharge the battery but my problem has been so severe I could not run it. It takes about 8 hrs to complete.
