codes: Companies pay more than $10s of thousands. You can pay $10k for one report.

However, today's data is already immediate enough to be very actionable. I can have today's census-level marketing data cleansed overnight and on my desk in the morning. I can have the syndicated data from the prior week available on Monday AM. I don't know any marketing department who can handle real-time data - and unless it is cleansed, it is suspect and nonactionable data. The delivery timing is not important, it is the breadth of data.

Iain knows the data is the honey pot. Adding Neustar to the equation is expected to take reporting to an entirely new level. However, we don't know this yet since no one has seen what the reports could look like (and clients are asking for report samples). One of the key questions with adding the carrier data is 'will it be difficult to parse.' For instance, what do we do for the significant percent of phones which are under a company plan? What we do with the significant number of family plans? In clients minds, this new data proposal seems to be built on the one-person-one-bill concept. If we have to filter out group plans, the data might simply be suspect. I hope not. Good data will drive this business. If marketing analysts don't like the output, it will be crippling.

Hopefully Neustar can deliver on these expectations.
